Today we had a Christmas party for the people, teachers and students, involved in the AFS project. As you know Christmas is a very important festival in Western countries, the time for families to get together and enjoy themselves having dinners, exchanging presents, singing songs... So a party was organized: we went to a coffee house, and spent 2 nice hours together, exchanging presents, taking pictures and chatting loudly (that is very Italian style)… And we could share the happiness of enjoying a non-conventional Christmas here in China: because this is what the AFS project is meant to be, exchange. Not only of students, but also of ideas, traditions, life-styles…even exchange of festivals!
